Step 1: Start with hair that is smooth on top but wavy on the bottom. Create a side part and then take a halo section on top of your head, starting above your ears. Move the halo section and pin in back.

Step 2: Take two-inch sections of hair and grab the ends with one hand. Using the other hand, rake your fingers through the hair in short strokes from the bottom up.

Step 3: Finger style hair into place and then mist with hairspray to create long-lasting hold.
