Step 1: Combine a dime-size amount of styling lotion with a few drops of shine serum and apply onto damp hair. Mist the roots with styling spray.

Step 2: Blow dry two-inch sections with a large round brush applying upward tension at the root for lift. Turn the brush several times to add roundness to the length. Switch to a medium round brush and roll one-inch sections up on the ends.

Step 3: Use a dab of pomade on your fingers to pinch the ends and create a piece-y texture. Mist with hairspray to hold.
