Step 1: Spritz a two-inch section of dry hair with styling spray and roll it around a large curling iron. Hold a few seconds to set curl, slide the iron out and repeat until all hair is rolled away from face.

Step 2: Take a two-inch section on top, hold it straight up. Use a tight-toothed comb and backcomb in short strokes along the back of the section toward your scalp. Repeat with all sections on top.

Step 3: Rake fingers through hair as you sweep it back and twist into a messy bun in back. Pin into place.
