Step 1: Take a two-inch section of dry hair from on top of your head and hold it straight up. Use a tight-toothed comb and backcomb in short strokes along the back of the section toward your scalp. Repeat with all sections on top of your head.
Step 2: Use a natural bristle brush and smooth hair on the surface as you direct it back.
Step 3: Sweep a smooth section of bangs over the front, tuck behind your ear and pin in place in back. Finish with a light mist of hairspray for all-day hold.
