Step 1: Start with smooth, dry hair. Isolate a large halo section on top of your head.
Step 2: Take a two-inch section within the halo and hold it straight up. Use a tight-toothed comb and backcomb in short strokes along the back of the section down toward your scalp. Repeat with all sections within the halo.
Step 3: Use a natural bristle brush to smooth the hair on the surface of the halo as you direct it back. Take two-inch sections on either side and cris-cross them on top of your head and pin into place.
