Step 1: Apply a nickel-size amount of styling lotion onto damp hair. Use the flat edge of a paddle brush to blow dry two-inch sections while pulling hair straight with each stroke.
Step 2: Mist just the ends of a one-inch section with styling spray and then wrap it around a medium curling iron. Hold section for a few seconds to set and then release, and repeat, rolling hair in a mix of directions.
Step 3: Run a wide-toothed comb through your strands in the same direction of the curl to break up the sections.
