Step 1: Start with smooth, dry hair and create a messy side-part.
Step 2: Take a two-inch vertical section from one side of the part. Create a loose three-strand braid and secure the ends with a small, coated elastic band. Repeat with a two-inch section on the other side and then pin the two braids together at the back of your head.
Step 3: Gather your length in back and, starting at the ends, roll your hair up horizontally. Pin the roll into place just under the braids at the back of your head.
