Step 2: Take a two-inch section within the halo and hold it straight up. Use a tight-toothed comb and backcomb in short strokes along the back of the section down toward your scalp. Repeat with all sections within the halo.
Step 3: Use a natural bristle brush and smooth hair on the surface of the halo as you direct it back, allowing the top to buckle slightly. Secure the length into a low ponytail with a coated elastic band.
