Gwen Stefani goes glam with a teased updo and dramatic makeup.
Step 1: Take a two-inch section of dry hair and hold it straight up on top. Use a tight-toothed comb and backcomb in short strokes along the back of the section toward your scalp. Repeat with all sections on top of your head.
Step 2: Use a natural bristle brush and smooth the hair on the surface as you gather it all in back. Twist and pin into place in back with the ends upward.
Step 3: Roll the ends around several fingers to create a pin curl, lay it flat against your head and pin into place.
