Step 1: Mix a nickel-size amount each of leave-in conditioner and styling cream with a few drops of shine serum and apply onto damp hair.
Step 2: Blow-dry two-inch sections of hair with a round brush, applying upward tension at the root for lift.
Step 3: Spritz the lower part of a two-inch section with styling spray and wrap around a large curling iron. Hold in place a few seconds to set curl, release and repeat all over. Curl face-framing sections away from face but alternate curl direction in back. Run fingers through hair to break up curls.
