Step 1: Apply a dab of styling lotion mixed with several drops of shine serum on damp hair. Work a dollop of mousse in at the roots.
Step 2: Blow-dry two-inch sections with a large round brush, lifting at the root to enhance volume.
Step 3: Once dry, create a messy part. Take a two-inch section and use a flat iron to bend just the bottom four inches up and out. Repeat until all hair is done. Use a dab of pomade on your fingers to pinch the ends and create a piece-y texture.
