This half-up, half-down hairstyle shows off Jessica Alba's glowing complexion and caramel brown hair perfectly.

Step 1: Start with dry hair that is smooth on top with slightly wavy ends.
Step 2: Take a two-inch section of hair on top and hold it straight up. Use a tight-toothed comb and backcomb in short strokes along the back of the section down toward your scalp. Repeat with all sections on top of your head.
Step 3: Smooth over the surface with a natural bristle brush. Leaving your bangs out in front, gather a halo section from on top of your head and loosely pin it back. Mist with hairspray for all-day hold.
