Step 1: Work a dime-size amount of styling lotion onto damp hair and a dollop of mousse onto the roots. Using a large round brush, blow-dry two-inch sections while lifting slightly at the roots to create volume.
Step 2: Spritz the lower part of a two-inch section with styling spray and wrap around a medium curling iron. Hold place for a few seconds to set curl and release and repeat all over. Curl face-framing sections away from face but alternate curl direction in back.
Step 3: Rake through curls with fingers and then mist with hairspray to finish.
