Katharine McPhee created fun braided accents and then swept her bodified length to one side to dress up her hairstyle.

Start with dry, bodified hair and create a diagonal side part. Take a random one-inch section of hair on either side of the part and create a loose three-strand braid with each. Sweep your hair to one side and over your shoulder. Twist the back vertically and pin into place at the nape of your neck. Finish with a light mist of hairspray for all day hold.
