Step 1: Gather the top-most section of your hair and being using a tight-tooth comb to backcomb in short strokes along the back of the section toward your scalp. Essentially, teasing hair to create large amount of volume at the scalp.
Step 2: Use a natural bristle brush and smooth your hair as you direct it back over the teased section on top, creating your desired level of height. Comb the sides of your hair tightly against your head.
Step 3: Sweep your length back and twist the ends of hair vertically, into the back of your head, and begin securing the end of locks underneath the shafts of hair with bobby pins. Repeat until all hair is pinned up.
