Step 1: Start with dry, slightly curled hair. Take a two-inch deep section from your front hairline spanning from ear to ear and set aside. Brush the remaining hair straight back away from the front hairline.
Step 2: Create a side-part though the front hairline section that you previously set aside. Take a quarter-inch amount of hair at the back end of the part on either side and create a tight three-strand braid with each of the two sections.
Step 3: Working off of the part, tuck each side along with the braid back behind your ears.
