Step 1: Apply a nickel-size amount of styling lotion onto damp hair and blow dry two-inch sections straight with a paddle brush.
Step 2: Avoiding the top six inches of hair, spritz a one-inch section with styling spray and wrap it around a large curling iron. Hold in place for a few seconds, release and repeat all over. Curl face-framing sections away from your face but alternate curl direction on the sides and in back.
Step 3: Lightly coat your fingers with shine serum and run through your hair to break up the curl.
