Take a two-inch section of dry, wavy hair on top and hold it straight up. Use a tight-toothed comb and backcomb in short strokes along the back of the section down toward your scalp. Repeat with all sections on top of your head and then smooth back over the surface with a natural bristle brush as you gather all hair in back. Secure into a ponytail at the back of your head with a coated elastic band.
