Step 1: Apply a handful of volumizing mousse onto damp hair. Using a paddle brush, blow dry two-inch sections straight.
Step 2: Spritz the lower part of a one-inch section with styling spray. Grab the ends and wrap the section around a tapered curling rod (a curling iron without the clamp). Hold in place for a few seconds to set the curl, release and repeat all over in a variety of curl directions. Run your fingers through your hair to break up the curls.
Step 3: Take a two-inch piece on top and pin it back.
