Step 1: Start with smooth, dry hair and isolate a halo section on top of your head.
Step 2: Take a two-inch section within the halo and hold it straight up. Use a tight-tooth comb and backcomb in short strokes along the back of the section down toward your scalp while blow-drying. Repeat with all sections within the halo.
Step 3: Use a natural bristle brush and smooth the hair on the surface of the halo section as you direct it all up and coil the ends back. Mist well with hairspray to seal in the shape.
