Step 1: Dry hair with your fingers, focusing on smoothing the top half of your locks.
Step 2: Use a 1-½ inch curling iron to curl hair outward, away from your face, until all of your strands are spiral.
Step 3: Finger-comb curls so that they move from twisted coil to looser waves.
Step 4: Set with hairspray.
