Step 1: Apply a quarter-size amount of styling lotion onto damp hair and blow dry two-inch sections at a time with a paddle brush.
Step 2: Smooth hair flat against your scalp with a natural bristle brush while you gather it into a ponytail on top of your head. Divide ponytail in half horizontally. Take the front half, roll it forward and under and pin into place in front of the ponytail band. Fan out and pin the roll down on each side.
Step 3: Repeat with the other half of the ponytail rolling hair back and under.
