Step 1: Take a two-inch section of dry hair and hold it straight out from your scalp. Use a tight-toothed comb and backcomb in short strokes along the back of the section down toward your scalp. Repeat with all sections for volumized roots.
Step 2: Use a natural bristle brush and smooth hair on the surface as you direct it all back and place into a coated elastic band at the base of your neck.
Step 3: Twist the length and form a bun. Use several bobby pins to secure in place and then mist with hairspray to finish.
