Apply a dime-size amount of shiny styling gel onto damp hair. Blow two-inch sections with a vent brush lifting at the root on top and then smooth the sides against your scalp. Once dry, add more styling gel onto your fingers and run them through your hair while lifting outward from the scalp. Slightly twist random pieces to give a spiky texture.
