Directions:
* Roll brush slowly upwards from root to tip of lash to separate individual lashes and to acheive ultimate definition and lash length. Continue building lashes until you reach your desired look. Do not let dry between coats. InStyle reveals Spring's Top 20 Beauty Essentials. Clump-free lashes are possible using Maybelline's Define-A-Lash mascara. It goes on smoothly and will add definition to each individual lash (page 398).

Promises length and sleekness. The flexible wand is covered with short rubber bristles that deposit lightweight polymers right at the root, coating each lash evenly, with triangle-shaped bristles to remove excess formula and prevent caking. "This brush makes lashes look even longer and fuller because the angled wipers - on a flexible wand - swipe away extra mascara while pushing it up to the very tip of the lash to extend it," says cosmetic chemist Ni'Kita Wilson. What Allure says: "The brush coated all of our lashes - even the tiny ones - without clumping or flaking. The waitress at dinner even asked if we were wearing fake lashes." (page 168)
