Description:

Directions:
Apply to hands and body, wherever skin feels dry or irritated.
Ingredients:
Active ingredient: Dimethicone. Other ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Distearyl Chloride, Petrolatum, Isopropyl Palmitate, Cetyl Alcohol, Oat Kernel Flour, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Chloride.

Finally, a winter solution
I bought a two-pack of Aveeno Moisturizing Lotion in desperation this winter. Two winters ago I moved to North Dakota from Florida. Both winters my fingertips developed deep cracks that wouldn't heal. I was in pain all the time and had trouble even buttoning a shirt or zipping up a jacket. Nothing helped; not even putting neosporin and adhesive bandages on at night. Enter Aveeno. What a difference. Aveeno has not only become my #1 moisturizing lotion, it is my ONLY one. At 63, I already had dry skin. Moving to North Dakota where humidity is low means Aveeno will be my choice year-round. |

Ok I tried the baby version of this stuff. It's essentially the same, but I got the baby stuff 'cos it was on sale ;) and I figure if it's ok for babies, it'll be just fine for my sensitive skin. Awesome stuff. I use it on my face. Anyone else I know finds it too heavy for the face though, just a warning. Feels SO SO good though. Nice and smooth without greasiness or drying out immediatly like most moisturizers polarize to. |

Use Aveeno in the shower, too!
I take a lot of medications due to illness, and some of the medicines, as well as the maladies cause my already notoriously dry skin to dry out to the point of cracked fingertips, heels, etc. Enter Aveeno! I use Aveeno body wash in the shower, as well as their shower moisturizing lotion. And once I get out of the shower I slather on Aveeno with colloidal oatmeal before drying off. Add to that Aveeno Calming facial moisturizer & I'm giving my skin, head-to-toe, the best weapon out there to fight the horrible dry, flaky, and sometimes painful skin dryness I use to have. I'm also aware that if I stop using Aveeno that dry, scaly skin will be back in a flash! I'm completely sold on Aveeno!
