Figs

“The seeds in figs are loaded with nutrients that help break down mucus and toxic residue in the digestive tract,” says Catalano. Plus, they’re rich in antioxidants, which promotes clear skin.

Red Bell Peppers

“Red peppers are high in vitamin C. Vitamin C is responsible for repairing and rebuilding collagen. They are low in sugar and are rich in the mineral silicon.” Can’t eat them on their own? Use a few to decorate a salad!

Rich in vitamin E, the nuts have skin-boosting benefits, while the omega 3 fatty acids are essential for brain function.
