If there was an award for Best Dressed on the red carpet this year, we would have voted for Jessica Chastain. That being said, we were a little disappointed in her dress last night at The Tony Awards. Our Facebook fans didn’t take to it either. “Women have nipples. Either show them or don’t show them. But this weird, ‘they’re there but not there’ thing is freaking me out,” a male reader said.

However, I think we can all agree that her old Hollywood waves were flawless. And what made them so gorgeous was the shine that really brought out every individual wave. Here are some of our favorite new ways this season to get that shine at home!

What Do Men Think Of Buns?

Shine Spray:
There is no faster way to get shine than by spritzing a little spray after styling your hair in the morning. We are currently obsessed with Oribe Aprés Beach Wave and Shine Spray ($35, Bluemercury.com) that texturizes beachy waves and adds moisture and that picture perfect shine.

Hair Mask:
If you want long lasting shine, go for a hair mask such as Klorane Mask With Magnolia Wax ($24, Klorane.com). The formula includes a shine-activating polymer that repairs split ends and creates shine on dull hair. Leave on for 5 minutes, comb through and then rinse.

Oil Treatment:
Moroccan Argan oil is one of the best ways to get that shine like Chastain’s. Garnier Fructus’ new Sleek & Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment ($4.99, Target.com), that is rich in Vitamin E and conditioning agents, can be applied on wet or dry hair and can even be added to your conditioner to boost results.

Shine Rinse:
Shine isn’t just on the outside. Shiny hair means healthy hair. Rene Furterer has a new rinse, FIORAVANTI Clarify & Shine Rinse ($26, Dermstore.com), that tightens hair cuticles and neutralizes hard water deposits to help restore shine.

Will you be boosting shine this season?
