MAC makeup artist James Kaliardos created this gorgeous golden girl look at the Ruffian show using pearly gold shadows and metallic pigments. “She’s an American expat adapting to the French culture. It’s a neutral palette but the gold makes it glamorous,” he said of the look.

Bright eyeliner, which was pretty much everywhere last spring, will make a return for 2011. The quirky highlighter yellow shade worn by models at the Peter Som show provided a beautiful, edgy contrast to their piece-y, boho waves.

Models at Christian Siriano were given a healthy dose of faux color to help accentuate the “romantic, nomadic” vibe. Makeup artist Polly Osmond for Victoria’s Secret gave them that wandering-in-the-desert look by blending shimmery bronzer and red pigment on the cheekbones to create the world’s sexiest sunburn.

  • Richard Chai

We love a good retro look and this one at Richard Chai is no exception. The swooped-back, 1940s hair was accentuated with dark-rimmed eyes and a nude lip. “Richard’s collection is all about pure, de-saturated, muted tones–a strong eye and nude lip are a great contrast to complete the look,” said Revlon’s Global Artistic Director Gucci Westman.
