You could call Nicole Richie a lot of things: Paris Hilton’s on again off again BFF, wife of Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden, mother of two, and, oh yeah, Lionel Richie’s daughter. Now, the 30-year-old will further expand her work with a “cute” range of clothing for the home shopping network, which will launch in February.
A source told USmagazine.com, “The line is cute–it can be worn by teeny tiny girls but also goes up to size XXXL. Nicole has a great fashion sense, and she’s very hands-on.”
The launch of the collection will tie in with the premiere of reality TV show Fashion Star, on which Richie will as a mentor for aspiring designers. The fashionista already has a womenswear line called Winter Kate, an accessories line called House of Harlow 1960 and Nicole, a maternity collection in collaboration with A Pea in the Pod.
The reality TV star–who was recently named Influencer of the Year at Accessories Council Excellence (ACE) Awards for House of Harlow 1960–recently said she designs for women who are not “afraid to take risks” and enjoy having “fun” with their wardrobes.
Describing her typical customer, she said, “[She is] a multitasker, a woman who wears many hats, someone who isn’t afraid to take risks and have fun with fashion.”
